چکیده

A pre-treatment method for upgrading gold from a polymetallic gold-zinc-lead ore by flotation was studied. X-ray diffraction analysis of the sulfide showed that quartz, calcite, pyrite, sphalerite, and galena are main constituents ore. The composition contained 6.49 ppm Au, 3.48% Zn, 1.25% Pb, 17.98% Fe, 20.36% S. Due to complexity ore, recovery is generally low. objective this study develop primary process recover in bulk concentrate. effects particle size, collector type, time, slurry pH on recoveries grades gold, zinc, lead were investigated. developed consisted rougher, scavenger, cleaner stages. High found be linked with high Pb which achieved utilization mixture AERO 7249 PAX. kinetics fast more than 50% recovered within 5 minutes flotation. Under optimized conditions stages, total 88.36 % final grade 60.97 obtained. enrichment ratio 9.4 achieved, confirming viability prior further processing.

Reducing the Entrainment of Gangue Fines in Low Grade Microcrystalline Graphite Ore Flotation Using Multi-Stage Grinding-Flotation Process

A suitable grinding fineness and flow-sheet could potentially reduce the mechanical entrainment of gangue minerals in the flotation process of microcrystalline graphite. In this study, the suitable grinding fineness of a commercial graphite ore was estimated by mineralogy analysis and laboratory grind-flotation tests. The target grind size of this ore should be 92% passing 74 μm based on the mi...

A comparative study of two-stage flotation of Zn and Pb oxide minerals using anionic, cationic, and mixed (cationic/anionic) collectors

A lead-zinc carbonate ore sample containing 2.5% Pb and 9.39% Zn was used in this research work. The sample was prepared from the Darreh-Zanjir mine located in the Yazd province (Iran). Influences of the influential factors on flotation of smithsonite and cerussite were investigated. Among the different parameters involved, dosages of the dispersant, depressants, sulfidizing agent, and collecto...

Multi-Stage Flotation for the Removal of Ash from Fine Graphite Using Mechanical and Centrifugal Forces

Graphite ore collected from Hunan province, south China was characterized by chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction, and optical microscopy. Rougher and multi-stage flotation tests using a mechanical flotation cell and a flotation column containing an additional centrifugal force field were carried out to promote its grade and economic value. In rougher flotation, both the mechanical flotation ce...
